Human Design Channel 1 → 8: The Living Artist (the Channel of Inspiration)
In traditional Human Design terms, this is the Channel of INSPIRATION, a Design of A CREATIVE ROLE MODEL.
In Human Design there’s a saying that “all roads lead to the throat,” which basically means that every channel is an energy that is on its way to being expressed and shared in the world. Sometimes we create in collaboration with others and sometimes we create for ourselves. The latter is the energetic of THE LIVING ARTIST.
These are people whose lives are creative expressions of their individuality. They are not designed to draw inside the lines or follow someone else’s definition of life or creativity. They’re rule-breakers, but not to make a statement or get attention, they’re really just following their creative pings and curiosity that leads to a life and lifestyle that expresses who they are, which has the unexpected impact of inspiring others to live more creatively in their own lives.
This is the creative channel of the Individual circuit of Empowerment. It connects the G center of love, direction, and identity to the Throat center of metamorphosis and expression.
