Human Design Channel 60 → 3: The Chimera (the Channel of Mutation)
In traditional Human Design terms, this is the Channel of MUTATION, a Design of ENERGY WHICH INITIATES AND FLUCTUATES.
THE CHIMERA can be a heavy energy to hold. There is an awareness of untapped, budding potential and the ever-present feeling that great change can happen at any moment. At the same time, one feels stuck, unable to control the pace or direction of possibility.
Because this channel is defined by the Sacral center, only Generators and Manifesting Generators will have it. Imagine how difficult it must be for those defined by the most powerful motor to feel stuck and unable to move forward. No wonder this channel is dominated by feelings of melancholy that permeate the entire design.
It’s important to remember that melancholy is the chemistry of creation, and that we learn the most about ourselves and the world while navigating the unknown.
This mutative energy has its own timing and will not be coerced by the needs, demands, or insecurities of the personality self that wants everything to happen on its own time. Rather than surrender to any feelings of helplessness, which can spiral into depression if you’re not aware, take time to consciously reconnect to your Sacral response and give yourself the gift of Nature.
