Human Design Energy Types: The Generator

Generators are the great builders of our world. They are endowed with energy that regenerates — as long as they are doing what they love. The problem is, when things like an undefined Heart center or undefined Solar Plexus or undefined Identity center have them doubting their worth, playing nice, or letting others tell them who they are, they can spend their energy doing the wrong things, leaving them unsatisfied, depleted, and burnt out.

Because Generators (and Manifesting Generators) comprise about 66% of the population, they set the tone for everybody else in terms of what it looks like to be productive in our society. When Generators and Manifesting Generators are busy busy busy always doing doing doing in such a visible way, this becomes the de facto modus operandi for everyone else, especially when they’re operating out of alignment with their own Strategy.

Ra Uru Hu always said that if we want to change the world quickly, start with the Generators (and Manifesting Generators). The sooner the G’s and MG’s start living in response to life, flowing instead of forcing things to happen, the more satisfying their lives become at a less frenetic pace, allowing Manifestors, Projectors, and Reflectors to lean into their own auric gifts that are not anchored in the doing.
